Device & Tech Specs
How long does the TrekWise Summit battery last?
TrekWise Summit uses a non-rechargeable, non-user replaceable battery, designed for long-term tracking. It is configured to provide up to 2 years of continuous usage. If you purchase a renewal package, we will swap another device to ensure no disruption to the usage.
What data can TrekWise Scout read from my car?
It supports over 30 OBDII parameters, including real odometer readings, fuel level, RPM, coolant temperature, VIN, and EV battery status. However, compatibility can vary depending on the make and model.
Does it work with electric vehicles?
Yes, TrekWise Scout supports many EVs, providing data such as range, battery level, and status. However, compatibility can vary depending on the make and model—full functionality is not guaranteed for every EV.
Connectivity & Software
Does it work in rural or remote areas?
Yes. All devices support multi-band LTE, ensuring connectivity even in areas with weaker signals. We use Telstra and Optus networks to maximize coverage.
Please note: rural and remote coverage is provided on a best-effort basis, and mission-critical tracking cannot be guaranteed in all locations.
How do I configure the tracker?
You can easily configure your device through our user-friendly web platform for real-time tracking, reporting, and device management.
Does it work internationally?
Technically, yes. However, our service is currently supported and tested only within Australia. If you plan to use your device overseas, please contact us first so we can advise on compatibility and limitations.

What’s included in the subscription?
- SIM connectivity (multi-network)
