How we started
TrekWise started because of one thing—our passion for cars. We’ve always loved them, whether it’s performance mods, engine swaps, or just the thrill of the drive. Whether it’s a prized sports car, a daily driver, or a hard-working fleet, we wanted a way to keep them safe, secure, and always within reach.

That’s why we founded TrekWise—because we wanted to help others protect the things that matter most.

Why do we do this
For us, cars aren’t just machines—they’re part of our lives. Whether it’s a purebred sports car, a JDM classic, a daily driver, or a work ute, we know what it feels like to want to protect what matters. We wanted a tracking solution that we’d actually use ourselves—something easy to set up, reliable, and smart enough to work without constant tinkering.

At first, we found cheap, unreliable tracking devices running dodgy software with no real privacy protection. On the other end of the spectrum, there were expensive and overly complicated fleet management systems that required separate data connectivity, jacking up costs and adding unnecessary hoops to jump through. Subscriptions, settings, configurations—just too much hassle and too many dollars.

So, we thought: why not build something that’s affordable and just works right out of the box? With a simple tap on an app, we can check on our pride and joy—or our work vehicle—anytime, anywhere.
